THE TEAM
Station is a collective co-founded by six former colleagues who have become partners.
It consists of experts in the strategy, management and communication of cultural projects and citizens’ agendas.
A flexible team sharing a common DNA.
Depending on the needs, we will sometimes work independently, sometimes as a larger team. And we can also seek support from external advisers. This all depends on your project!

Strategy // Team and project management

Educated in philosophy and Germanic languages and literature, my first professional experiences soon confronted me with the realities of the cultural and political world.
I yielded on these assets to the benefit of the “Mons 2015, European Capital of Culture” project, which I took part in as deputy artistic commissioner, a fascinating experience from the beginning to the end, hailed as exemplary by the public, the press and the European Commission.

This is where I learnt to build an innovative strategy with my team and with various European partners.
I refined this expertise at BOZAR by coordinating multidisciplinary art projects.
Nowadays I support the creation and organization of original, multidisciplinary and territorial cultural & citizen-based projects.

Event production, logistics, administration and finances
Having completed my university degree in business management, I fell into the mass retailing sector by chance. This first experience working with some important actors in the field allowed to cut my teeth, mainly in staff management.
After some years, my itch for new adventures and freedom led me to becoming an associate to develop the Dyncomm firm, which at that time was mainly known for its expertise in non-media communication.
Our different encounters and experiences brought us to become involved in Mons 2015 European Capital of Culture. This pivotal moment allowed us to focus on a sector which was not a straightforward choice for us.
Nowadays, strengthened by those experiences of all kinds, I put my skills in administrative and financial management but also in event production at Station’s disposal.
Coach & project designer
10 years of scouting, serving the national and international theatrical creation
4 years of territorial cultural networking and project managing for the ambitious Mons 2015, European Capital of Culture project.
A hands on experience which allows me to offer a “Swiss knife” expertise and a dense network to cultural and associative projects and citizens’ agendas.
As a coach, designer and facilitator, I accompany my partners in the realization of their ideas as well as in team cohesion and in the concrete implementation on the project.
Engaged in Transition, I have an ecosystem-based, permacultural and decidedly collaborative approach!

Cultural communication specialist
I studied Romanic languages and literatures. Chance first led me to the function of press secretary at manège.mons, a cross-disciplinary stage.
After 3 years at Grü/ an experimental stage based in Geneva, I joined the team of the future European Capital of Culture as head of the literary project.
In 2013, I became director of communication for Mons 2015. Today I am in charge of the communication department for Mars - Mons performing arts and contribute to various projects as a management and communication strategy expert.

Marketing & communication // Sponsoring
Since 2013, holding a degree in Political Sciences, I have been managing all of the private and public partnerships for Mons 2015.
During this experience and in particular through the creation of Mons 2015 Companies Club, I sparked the interest of the economic world for culture and the interest of the cultural sector for economy.
This experience made me want to create new adventures within my Dyncomm firm, which I had founded in 2010.
The firm benefited from this new experience, adding a territorial and institutional dimension to its expertise in large scale event organization.
An enterprising journalist
Trained in Romanic languages, I started my career following my dream: as a “socially engaged” journalist. I learnt the job in Nantes with a radio that followed a European editorial line, in Kinshasa (RDC) as the editorial secretary of the first Congolese lifestyle magazine and in Brussels at the European Journalist Federation.
At 24, I became Head of Press Relations for Mons 2015.
After this beautiful adventure, I embarked for Rabat (Maroc) with the Belgian development Agency (Enabel). I was also writing articles over there (Le Soir, 24h01) and producing radio reports for the RTBF. Upon my return, I started off as a freelance journalist and consultant.
I currently work as a journalist for RTBF and the 24h01 magazine, amongst other things. My ambition is to set up Utopaton, my grand project to save the world (or to try, at least).
